I am Newport, RI native who moved to NH in 1997 as a freshman at Plymouth State College. As an avid skier, I knew I wanted to live close to the mountains. In 2001, I moved to Manchester and began my career in the financial services industry. I obtained my insurance and securities licenses and started building my practice with a focus on helping clients with their insurance and investment management needs.
Within a few years, I obtained my master’s degree in Financial Services as well as the Certified Financial Planner® designation to help gain knowledge and credibility as a young advisor. Soon after, I became an adjunct professor teaching graduate classes in financial planning at night and continued to grow my practice during the day. In 2012, I moved to Amherst, NH, and became more involved in the local community. I served on several nonprofit boards, volunteered my time to prepare income tax returns for low-income residents through the Vita program, founded a local Rotary International club, and coached my boys’ travel soccer teams.
Over the past 20 years, I have expanded the range of services to include employee benefits as well as college, tax, and estate planning but something was missing. In 2021, I obtained my mortgage loan officer (MLO) license to be able to offer mortgages, home equity and other debt solutions directly to my clients and fill in that missing piece. After originally getting licensed with a large national firm, I quickly realized I needed a local firm with shared values and focus on customer service. After researching many of the firms in the area, I found Blue Water and was immediately welcomed into their family.
Today, I work as a loan officer helping young couples starting out to finance their first home, families looking to borrow money for a vacation home or to send kids to college as well as investors looking to purchase a rental property. I look forward to working with you!
