I believe the most important aspect of any service business is listening to the client’s needs and identifying the best program to meet those needs. It’s a simple concept, but not always acted upon by many in the mortgage industry. Placing the client first has been the foundation upon which I have built my client base and my professional referral sources here at Blue Water Mortgage.
In addition to my “client first” philosophy, I have nearly 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding Blue Water Mortgage, I was Vice President of Sales for Direct Capital Corporation in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. My responsibilities included working with commercial lenders in all aspects of borrowing, from the underwriting process to pricing and funding the loans. I gained valuable experience working with borrowers and lenders to determine how to best make the loans work for my clients. I also learned the valuable skill of explanation, making sure each of my customers always had a clear understanding of each step of the borrowing process.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Careyanne, and our young children, Zachary, Andrew and Violet, at our home in Amesbury, Massachusetts. In addition, I enjoy the great fishing we are afforded here on the seacoast, as well as hitting the links for some golf from time to time.
