Blue Water Mortgage Welcomes 1 New Loan Officer Assistant & 5 New Loan Technicians

November 11, 2020, (HAMPTON, NH) Blue Water Mortgage Corporation, an independent mortgage broker serving New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina, is excited to welcome six new hires to the team: Brennan Foley, Peter Karls, Emily Lawrence, Ashley Fortin, Jennie Brown and Josh Dion.

Brennan Foley joins us as a loan officer assistant for Jeff Davis. His goal at Blue Water is to gain as much knowledge as possible about the industry and the company so that he can become a valuable team member and grow his career. Brennan is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a degree in economics and elementary education. Originally from Western Massachusetts, Brennan now lives in Boston, but he makes a trip up to Lake Winnipesaukee every summer for an annual family vacation. You can also find him alpine skiing up north in the winter.

Peter “Pete” Karls is one of our five newest loan technicians. He started his professional career working in the trades and then as a lending solutions manager for CIT Bank. At Blue Water, his goal is to become a loan processor. Pete may have a wealth of experience, but he always makes sure there is time for traveling. “So far I’ve been to Italy four times, France, England, Ireland, Iceland, Finland and Greece, with hopes to go to many more countries.” Pete lives in Barrington with his wife and daughter, and he frequently ventures out to Somersworth to hit up his favorite local spot, Las Palmas.

Loan technician Emily Lawrence brings years of retail management experience with her in her role at Blue Water. “I’m starting out as a loan technician, and I’m very excited to continue to grow with the company and help out wherever I can!” Emily loves going for walks with her dog Padme and visiting the White Mountains, and she hopes to travel to New Zealand in the near future. She may not be a big sports fan, but Emily loves watching Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl every year.

Ashley Fortin is also part of our new group of loan technicians. A resident of Rollinsford, New Hampshire, she loves the Boston Bruins, traveling (her go-to vacation spot is Key West, Florida) and visiting Kooks Café in Rye, New Hampshire.

Jennie Brown is originally from the North End of Boston and she graduated from Suffolk University. As a loan technician for Blue Water, she is looking forward to growing in her role and exploring more of what New Hampshire has to offer. Jennie is an avid traveler and she even learned Italian after living in Rome for several months. She may not watch sports, but like any true Boston girl, she supports all New England teams.

Josh Dion rounds out our fresh batch of new loan technicians. He attended UMass Amherst, where he double majored in communications and Italian. All that hard work paid off, since Josh is fluent in Italian and even worked as an Italy vacation specialist for Donna Franca Tours. Josh is a fan of golfing, fishing and, of course, the New England Patriots. His plans at Blue Water are to learn as much as possible and to work his way toward becoming a loan officer.
